My music interests are quite and varied but have also slowed down over the years from heavy rock in my teens to classical at present but through all that my overwhelming interest has been with The Electric Light Orchestra, a band that revolutionised the music by mixing classical instruments with modern electronics to create a wonderfully unique sound created by Jeff Lynne and his unrivalled song writing.
You will have to have been living under a rock for the last few years if you didn't know anything about MP3 files & although I don't agree with ripping off recording artists for monies they have worked hard for I see nothing wrong with replacing my old vinyl collection with digital equivalents rather than buy the same recording in CD format. My vinyl collection for ELO & related artists is quite impressive after spending most of my pocket money & wages over the years. I now have 650 such tracks of very good quality.
Unless you've been on another planet for the last few years you can't have failed to hear about the Lord of the Rings films. I've lost count of how many times I've seen the first 2 & will soon hopefully see the final part 'Return of The King'. There are numerous sites dedicated to the films & original works by JRR Tolkien.
